Building Security Guard

Entity: Spectra Venue Management – Stride Bank Center

Reports To: Security Supervisor; Event Manager

Status: Part-Time; Hourly

 Responsibilities

• Check bags for contraband
• Walk premises to insure building is secure
• Observe and report issues that happen on your shift
• Work in cooperation with other security persons as a security team.
• Handle situations in a professional manner
• Work various assignments inside building
• Follow directions for all event procedures and safety standards
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have earned a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be CLEET Certified
• Related experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language
• Must demonstrate a professional and customer-focused attitude, and the ability to function harmoniously in a team environment
• Must have the ability to work flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Criminal background check required
